What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

A Brazilian butt lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure used by our Miami plastic surgeons to help patients correct a saggy or flat buttocks. The popular procedure is a natural augmentation that enhances, reshapes and adds additional projection to target areas of the buttock.

Why is it a “Brazilian Butt Lift”?

Don’t worry you don’t need to book a flight to Brazil to have this procedure performed. It’s just become the most popular “brand” for a butt lift using a fat transfer. In fact, many of the best “Brazilian Butt Lift” surgeons are right here in the Unite States including Dr. Moises Salama.

How Much Does it Cost?

At Elite Plastic Surgery we offer a special All-Inclusive Brazilian Butt Lift Package that costs $9,499. This package includes:

  • Liposuction of the Abdomen, Flanks, Upper & Lower Back
  • Fat Grafting to Buttock and Hips (no extra charge for hips)

What type of Anesthesia is used?

Your surgical procedure will be performed under general anesthesia. We perform all of our Butt Lift procedures at the Elite Cosmetic Surgery Center which is a Florida State Certified Office Surgery Center and has advanced life support capabilities. Our anesthesiologists have performed thousands of procedures, and complication rates for general anesthesia are extremely low.

How Long Will Results Last?

Good news! The results of your Brazilian Butt Lift can last for a length of time as long you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Weight fluctuations can have an effect on your procedure. Longer term results may depend on how much of the injected fat naturally absorbs into your body. Buttock size will fluctuate the size of your buttock as injected fat cells may expand or reduce.

How long cannot I not sit after the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure?

We recommend you do not sit for at least four weeks after your surgery. This is the minimum amount of time recommended to avoid pressure to the newly harvested fat cells.

What supplements should I take leading up to the procedure?

We recommend that every patient should take approximately 300 mg of Iron per day and 1000 mg of Vitamin C per day beginning 30 days prior to procedure date. This will help your body prepare for recovery. Many patients in addition to these supplements take the makemeheal pre and post vitamin regiment. As long as none of the supplements are on the medications to avoid list.

How long should I wear my compression garment for?

We recommend you wear it for about 6-8 weeks post surgery. This will assist in the reduction of swelling and inflammation caused by the liposuction. The compression also assists your lymphatic drainage system discharge all fluids injected during surgery.

How many massages should I get?

Massages play an integral part of your recovery. Not only do they assist in discharging fluid through your lymphatic system, but they help in creating evenness and removing contour deformities caused by liposuction. Many of the contour deformities can be avoided if massages are done continuously. You should always wait about 3-4 days between massages, and obtain at a minimum of 10-12 massage at two per week.
